Best of the Best!

We have been dinning at Mamma's for years. They are the best.

Pizza

Posted by New2Ohio1234 on 3/28/2008

I’ve been desperately looking for a good pizza since moving to the area last summer. Mama Disalvo’s pizza was a huge disappointment. While the restaurant atmosphere was wonderful the pizza reminded me something I would buy in a supermarket frozen section.

Absolutely Horrible

Posted by peanuthead81 on 3/5/2008

My husband made reservations for our anniversary. After dinner he was taking me to a show at the Schuster. We were dressed nicely and ready for a night on the town. When we arrived at Mamma's we gave the host our name, he looked in his book and told us it would be just a few minutes. The place was packed. After 15 minutes and many people being seated before us my husband asked how much longer. The host said only a few more minutes. Another 15 minutes passed and more people were seated. I asked what the hold up was. The host told us we have to wait just like everyone else! I informed him that we had reservations and wanted to be seated. He then had the nerve to tell me they do not take reservations!!! I saw our last name in the book when we arrived! I asked him for a phone book because at the bottom of their add it said they took reservations. When I went to the host to show him this- he refused to look at it and snatched the book from my hands. I was horrified. I have never been treated like that in my life. I never ate their food but I will never go back. They are a horrible establishment.

Authentic Italian

This place makes me feel like I stepped into little Italy. It is family owned and as far as I know they only have one location. They also have a deli next door. All the food it good here. The only thing I dont like that they have is their pizza. That could of been because I had that for carry out and that sometimes has an effect on the taste. Great atmosphere and food.
